Distinction Academy (D A) was  founded by Dr. Onyekwere Jideofor R. (Son of the Kingdom) and Nwachukwu  Stanley . P (Prof Kay) on March, 2017. The Head-quaters is at WTC Primary School, Ogui New-Layout, Enugu State of Nigeria.

 OBJECTIVE

Distinction Academy  is an Educational Institution set up to promote  academic excellence among the young academics in junior secondary schools, senior secondary schools and pre-tertiary institution  levels. The name Distinction Academy was coined to reflect the committment of the institution in producing students par excellence who can make distinction in any course of their study.

MODUS OPERANDI

Distinction Academy offers 8-hour service daily from Mondays to Friday. The 8-hour service is divided into two sections namely:

MORNING PERIOD: this begins at 9.00am and ends at 1.00pm

AFTERNOON PERIOD: this begins at 2.00pm and ends at 6.00pm. This offers the students the option of either attending the morning or afternoon classes during the holidays

However, during school resumption, the institution re-schedules her activities only in the afternoon period, from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. This is to ensure that the schooling students attend their schools during the morning hours.

LOGO

The logo of Distinction Academy consists of an open book and a dove descending on it. The open book signifies knowledge while the dove signifies the Holy Spirit. When put together, the logo stands for the spirit of knowledge. Distinction Academy is therefore a place where the spirit of knowlege can be imparted towards effective intellectual productivity.

MOTTO: In the bid of the institution to fulfill its noble ambition of producing candidates who shall become agents of national and global transformation, intellectual proficiency and moral integrity has become the motto of the institution.
